It is the desire of Orchard Christian Fellowship to minister to the elderly of our community and encourage them in their spiritual journeys. We have several senior ministries designed to meet those goals that include luncheons, Bible studies, and other activities. We also have ministries in which seniors can volunteer as well as ministries that seek to provide assistance to seniors.
Seniors are treasured members of our church family.
We value your experience, companionship, and advice. Seniors bring richness and depth to volunteer service; we welcome your service in any area (prayer, children’s nursery, ushering and greeting, etc.).
We want to get to know you, and invite you to attend church events – concerts, board game nights, picnics, pot lucks, Bible studies, men’s and women’s fellowship groups, among others. For upcoming events click on Events
Do you know a Senior who needs assistance, including household chores, rides, meals, or someone to visit with? We are beginning an “adopt a senior” care team who is wanting more time with seniors and are willing to be like a son, daughter, or friend to you.

One of our regular bible studies for senior citizens is "Senior Connections." On the first and third Fridays of each month from September to June, the Senior Connection bible study meets at the Robie House at 10:30 a.m. for a teaching, discussion, and fellowship over snacks or lunch.
Click here for more information on the Senior Connections bible study.
Senior Luncheons Senior men and women have separate luncheons on the last Tuesday of each month at different locations. Contact Don and Dot Whitten at the following email address:
