Men's Pornography Addiction Support Group

For Men Only (FMO)

What is sexual addiction? It is NOT primarily a behavior issue or a moral issue.

Sex addiction is primarily a:

  • Coping mechanism
  • Identity issue
  • Spiritual issue

Sexual addiction is repetitive and uncontrollable. When sexual activity of any kind (regardless of the type or the amount) is unable to be stopped it is considered addictive. Ultimately when efforts to stop have been unsuccessful, the addict feels his/her life to be unmanageable.

The sexual activity is used, like any addiction, to escape to avoid feelings, to reduce stress or as a way of connecting intimately with others. All sex addicts feel detached, isolated and alone.

The FMO is a Christ-centered support group comprised of Christian men who have driven the stake in the ground and seek biblical sexual purity. Breaking free from the bonds of sexual addiction can be a difficult and challenging journey. It takes commitment, diligence, hard work and a desire to allow the Holy Sprit to change lives.
