Kim Kerns writes, "I talked to Evan tonite. He is having fun. Five crews are working on the street. Evan is meeting all the children that come to be taken care of by the lady who lives in the house and some of them attend their devotions. Evan and the crew are washing a house and then painting the outside. One of the children who is 7 is helping them paint. Another crew is putting on a front porch. This afternoon he enjoyed hanging out at the pier and swimming in the ocean in Wildwood, NJ.

Also I heard alot of cockroach stories and how kids are afraid of them. Apparently the cockroach expert Aaron says they really aren't that big. Evan says there were many scurrying about on the first floor but now they are on the second floor and he has only seen one."
