At the beach in Wildwood, NJ on the half-day off!

Day 4 update from Evan

Kim Kerns writes, "I talked to Evan tonite. He is having fun. Five crews are working on the street. Evan is meeting all the children that come to be taken care of by the lady who lives in the house and some of them attend their devotions. Evan and the crew are washing a house and then painting the outside. One of the children who is 7 is helping them paint. Another crew is putting on a front porch. This afternoon he enjoyed hanging out at the pier and swimming in the ocean in Wildwood, NJ.

Day 4 update from Marty and Katie

I spoke with Marty and Katie tonight. Marty's back is doing OK, but his cold is nasty! Please pray for health! His crew is going well and the work is coming along nicely.

Katie and her crew were a bit discouraged at the end of yesterday, as they had not accomplished as much as they should have. They started the work day today with prayer, asking God to show them what needed to be done and how to do it. When the work day was done, they realized that the job is virtually done! Praise God for that answer to prayer.

Day 3 update from Morgan

This is the home that Morgan and her crew are working on. Keep up the good work!

Day 3 update from Marty

Marty reports that his crew is doing well. They are building a small deck and a wheel chair ramp. His crew is making good progess and are enjoying the work, and getting to know the homeowner. Marty is battling a cold and a sore back, but otherwise is enjoying the trip. Wednesday is a half-work day, with the afternoon off to spend with all the Londonderry team. The plans are to head to the beach. Sabrina had done some research ahead of time and found a place to go. Pray for safety in their travels tomorrow. ~ Mrs. C :)

Day 3 update from Morgan

Morgan sent some info on her crew. The Crew Leaders are Todd Pickens from the Carolina's (not sure if it is N or S) and Ken McCall from Delaware. Other crew members include Chelsea Brown (14) from New Hampshire, Morgan (13), Ray Bryant (16) from Maryland, and Xiaoxuan Duan (18) from Connecticut. Praying for you and your new friends as you serve together! ~ Mrs. C :)
